Mom, it has been a year and the pain from your departure  is fresh. Where is your patient and loving gaze with that easy smile? I choose to believe that you are in a better place with no more pain and suffering.  I believe you are laughing and having tea with Aunt Yvonne and Uncle Ben and you would not want us to weep for you.  It is difficult so when it gets really bad I try force myself to remember your smiling face and how you taught us to laugh.

We thought of you today, but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. We think of you in silence and we often speak you name. Now all we have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart.

Love you Aunt Norma Close

Norma Sinclair was one of the best instructors in Culinary Arts that I have I ever met.  Not only was she talented, but a real pleasure to work with.  I was deeply saddened when I heard of her passing and even though I was unable to attend the service, my thoughts and prayers were there for her family.  Mrs. Sinclair will never be forgotton by those of us who were lucky enough to know her at NCU.  Close

You will be missed Mommy Sinclair.  You were such a great mentor to me in my college years at CAST.   You were one of my favorite teachers.   I learnt so much from you.   May your soul rest in peace and please know that you are safe in the arms of the Savior.

I wish for the family comfort in this time of loss.   I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.  Blessings!

sweeta dan shuga -- that is how i would describe Mrs. Sinclair.  The last time we spoke was about a year ago while you were on one of your sojourns abroad. What a delight it was to hear from you!
You and my mommy, Pastoria Patrickson, had become fast friends while I was a student at CAST and especially since we lived a few doors from one another in Mona Heights. Mommy reminded me that it was only this past April that you and her had what would turn out to be your last conversation together.
I will always remember when you made a special trip to attend my graduation in Miami, Florida.  You said that it was a proud moment for you as i walked across the stage to receive my Master's degree. Knowing that you were there still remains a warm moment in my life.
Thank you for the many wonderful memories during and after my college days. You touched many lives -- you were a bright spark!

Rest in peace, my dearest teacher.

Norma was very warm and radiant in her personality and very full of life. We are glad that God allowed us to have encountered someone as special as her and to see her personality and character so evident in her daughters. Much love.

It was with much sorrow that Richard and I received the news of Mrs. Sinclair's passing. Our hearts and  prayers go out for the comfort of her family. In particular Nadine, Gracie, Plummy and Marie who we believe embody their Mother's legacy powerfully. Their love for life and the gifts that they have brought so many through their love, laughter, support and unending kindness. We know that this speaks to who Mrs. Sinclair was to many daughters and sons who adopted her as their own.
May the peace of christ which surpases all understanding comfort your Hearts as you remember with joy and sorrow the strengeth of a woman (your mother, Norma Sinclairh).
